Paul Josephs' Blues Band is a living tribute to the roots and branches of American music—Blues, Funk, Reggae, Rock, and Folk—drawing from masters like B.B. King, The Meters, Bob Marley, Louis Jordan, Jimi Hendrix, and the Beatles.

A New York native playing professionally since age fifteen, Josephs began his career opening for comedy shows at the New York Improv with his own youth blues band, and cut his teeth as a sideman with the older cats in Moose and the Bulletproof Blues Band. He tours internationally with his own music and has performed and recorded with Dr. Lonnie Smith, Idris Muhammad, The Roots, Pharoahe Monch, Maceo Parker, Beyoncé, Jean Grae, Rodney Jones, Arthur Blythe, and many more.

The band features Josephs on guitar and vocals with piano, bass, and drums, and is presented in configurations from solo to septet with horns depending on the venue. He is accompanied by a rotating cast of New York City's finest touring musicians, who collectively have shared stages with Paul Simon, David Byrne, Taj Mahal, Ray Charles, and other giants.
